GENERAL RULES OF CONDUCT AT ODIN CAMPING


For everyone to thrive at odin camping, it is important to respect and care for each other


Arrival

 

  1. Announce your arrival at reception. Name, home address and telephone number are given here. Identification is presented on request.
  2. If there are special faults or issues with your plot or cottage, let us know upon arrival.

 

During your stay

 

  1. Odin Camping is so lucky to border a nature reserve and we ask our guests to follow instructions from the environmental authorities.
  2. Guests are obliged to familiarize themselves with rules regarding fire protection, gas, electricity and other safety regulations. Therefore follow the notices and the staffs instructions.
  3. There should be 4 meters between each camping unit. This applies to all types of caravans, motorhomes, all types of tents and additional buildings. No camping unit can be larger than 75m2.
  4. It is basically forbidden to light a bonfire on the campsite with the exception of the designated place. The barbeque must be safe and stable and at a good distance from combustible material. Keep the barbeque under supervision as long as it is hot. Charcoal and ash must be cold before being emptied into a separate container (not together with ordinary waste) in a designated and fireproof place.
  5. Campfire pans are permitted, but must be adapted to strict fire protection rules and location must be approved by the staff. Extinguishing equipment must be easily accessible.
  6. Between 23:00 and 07:00 there must be calm and quiet. The greatest possible consideration must be shown to other guests.
  7. Ball play must take place on separate areas and not between the caravans or motorhomes. It is forbidden to play or play games that can be annoying or dangerous to others. Stone throwing is not allowed at the campsite, beaches or on the piers. Play should not take place inside service buildings.
  8. All use of playground, trampoline, diving tower, boats, water trampoline and more, is at your own risk. The playground should not be used after 21:00.
  9. The use of any kind of weapon and fireworks is prohibited. By appointment, a separate, customized event can be created for the celebration of the New Year.
  10. Driving is limited to a minimum and must be done at speed not faster than a walking person. Between 23:00 and 07:00 it is not allowed to drive inside the campsite. Cars can be parked outside the reception during this time.
  11. Washing your car, or other similar equipment. Laundry or dish washing should only take place in a designated area.
  12. Only one car per camping unit is allowed. It is not allowed to park boats or trailers on the site. Contact reception if additional parking is required.
  13. It must at all times be orderly and tidy around the caravan or motorhome. The guests who have a rental agreement must make sure that the grass is kept on their own plot.
  14. Excavation in the ground must not take place.
  15. Your caravan or motorhomes portable lavatory water must collected in a watertight tank and emptied into a dedicated sink located by one of our service buildings.
  16. Consideration must be given to other guests when it comes to personal pets. The pets owner is responsible for ensuring that the pets behavior is acceptable at the campsite. All feces from the pet must be removed by the pets owner. This applies both on the campin area, as well as along roads and paths commonly used. Dog bags must be used and thrown away in the designated place.
  17. All dogs and cats on site must be kept on a short leash throughout the year. This also applies outside the general restraint period. Other pets should also be kept on a leash or kept in a suitable enclosure.
  18. For the sake of other guests, it is not allowed to bring animals inside any service building. The rule of course does not apply to guide dogs.
  19. Sales of goods and services are not permitted without managements consent.
  20. People who act intoxicated, show indecent behavior, create a fire or are otherwise a nuisance to others on the campsite, can be expelled with immediate effect.
  21. Waste is placed in the waste bins. It is only permitted to dispose of normal household waste and small waste that goes in a plastic bag. The rest must be driven to the environmental station / recycling station. Flammable material must be in a separate container.
  22. When moving from Odin Camping, the tenant must leave the rental object in the same condition as it was upon arrival. Unless otherwise agreed, the camping site or housing unit must be left clean, tidy and no later than 12:00.

 


Responsability

 

  1. Odin Camping cannot assume liability for the guests private belongings.
  2. Damage caused to the company property or other guests must be covered by the purpetrator according to current rules.
  3. Caravans and motorhomes must be in approved condition in accordance with current regulations.
  4. Caravans and motorhomes must be kept insured against accidents, theft and fire. They must also be equipped and follow rules in accordance with fire regulations.


Prices and payment


  1. For guests with a fixed rental agreement, payment based on invoice must always be made to a bank, preferably with KID. 
  2. Seasonal guests pay in advance when booking a plot or cottage, or upon arrival at the reception.
