Welcome to Odin Camping
Odin Camping is a child-friendly, family campsite located next to the idyllic sights of Tyrifjorden, Buskerud. Here we have 250 designated plots available for motorhomes, caravans and tents. In addition to this, we have 11 cottages available for rent.
There are long, beautiful sandy beaches with shallow water stretching far out into the lake that the kids will love. We can also offer a nice playground containing trampolines, swing sets amongst other kind of play equipments.
Our campsite is located 60 minutes away from Oslo and 15 minutes from Hønefoss. The nearest shopping center, Vik Torg, is a mere 12 minutes drive containing several restaurants, drugstore, liquor shop and gas stations.
We serve food at the kiosk where you can enjoy a variety kind of food, while you are enjoying the sun or watching your kids at the playground. Our guests can pick up their food order directly from the kiosk, if they wish to dine by their own motorhome or caravan.
We recommend booking your cottage or designated plot through our website by completing our online form. We will then be able to send a confirmation as quickly as possible. Make sure to book your holiday as early as possible!

Odin Camping is in the process of expanding our facilities. This includes playgrounds and new plots for motorhomes.
We have long beautiful sandy beaches suitable for families with children, as well as trampolines, playhouses and other play equipment.
We also have a large game room containing a billiard table and a "chill zone" with books and multiple board games. We're expanding our facilities for families with children in mind.

It is possible to enjoy your meal on the terrace by the reception overlooking the playground, or we can also offer a pickup service should you choose to enjoy your meal in the privacy of your own rental plot or cottage. The terrace seating area is only open during the summer season.

Kongens utsikt (The King’s view)
This fantastic hiking trip is one of the most popular among the excursion destinations of Ringerike. The King’s View is based 484 meters above Tyrifjorden and Steinsfjord, west of Kleivstua. Here you will find an astonishing view of the greater area of Ringerike and Hole. King Karl Johan visited this place in 1832, thereby named The King’s View.

Go back in time and visit the magnificent longhouse in Hønefoss. Within the museum it is possible to explore the many changing exhibitions, or the beautiful and permanent display from the early Iron Age.
